Alcohol promises such a lot

One of the things that I have noticed about alcohol is that it promises such a lot. It doesn't matter what group it belongs to (beer, wine or spirits) alcohol offers:

• A sense of Relaxation

• Happy feelings

• A Cool drink on a hot day

• A refreshing Drink on a cold day :-)

• A sense of comfort Reaching Out to others - to talk, to share stories, to relax together, to have fun

• The ability to Forget all of one's worries in the world

• Being able to go to Sleep easily (at least temporarily)

• A feeling of Fitting In with others who hang out with alcohol, of being 'not boring'.

And then I remember all of the Dirty Tricks of alcohol...
