Domestic and Family Violence

Mental health, alcohol and other drug problems can be triggered by trauma in a person's life. Domestic and family violence is one such trauma. We see efforts for change in addressing this social problem and some support services are available for women affected by domestic and family violence. The Women's Legal Service provides free legal advice and support for women escaping domestic violence. They are worth checking out.
