Taking charge of depression
Thanks for asking this question. There are lots of things people can do about depression. You probably know a few already but have temporarily forgotten them. This happens when depression creeps in.
In my experience remembering about being kind to yourself and caring for yourself (self care) helps to make depression shrink. Think about the kinds of things you enjoy doing. You might make a list. Your list might include things like
visit a friend
have a rest day
Then, pick 1 or 2 things from your list and put your self care plan into action. It can be hard at first because depression has a way of stopping people from taking action. Taking charge of depression by taking good care of you can help.
It would be good to hear what kinds of things you have done in the past to shrink depression.
